Ms. Crespo is involved in the representation of individuals in a wide variety of labor and employment related litigation, including claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, failure to accommodate disabilities, family and medical leave violations, and breach of contract.
Prior to joining Fitapelli & Schaffer, LLP, Ms. Crespo served as a law clerk for the Honorable James R. Paganelli of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex Vicinage. She also worked as a judicial intern at the Office of the Chief Counsel for Industry and Security at the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C.
Ms. Crespo is a graduate of The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, earning a degree in International Relations and Psychology. She then earned her Juris Doctor cum laude at the University of Illinois College of Law. Ms. Crespo earned the pro bono notation distinction for her extensive pro bono work while in law school. She was elected Notes Editor of the University of Illinois Journal of Law, Technology, and Policy and advised students on the production of their student notes for publication. Ms. Crespo was also a teaching assistant for Professor Charles J. Tabb and an active member of many student groups.
Ms. Crespo is licensed to practice law in Virginia and New York and she is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
