EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION

Eventlink Wage and Hour Lawsuit

Fitapelli & Schaffer has filed a lawsuit against Eventlink LLC alleging widespread overtime and wage violations affecting workers across multiple states, including New York, California, Indiana, and Nevada. Eventlink is an experiential marketing agency that sends drivers and logistics personnel to run in-person events for major clients across the country. The complaint alleges that Eventlink failed to properly compensate its Day Rate Workers for overtime hours despite routinely requiring long shifts and extensive workweeks.

According to the complaint, Day Rate Workers are paid a flat day rate regardless of how many hours they worked and regularly worked seven days a week with no days off while on multi-week assignments. The lawsuit also alleges that Eventlink failed to keep accurate time records and failed to provide legally required wage notices and accurate wage statements, which prevented workers from realizing they were being underpaid.
