The nearly $9 million payout will\u00a0resolve claims that the medical service provider failed to\u00a0pay its hourly\u00a0employees for regular hours as well as overtime pay.\u00a0The\u00a0Aurora Health Care\u00a0system\u00a0employs individuals in\u00a016 hospitals, 70 pharmacies and over 150 clinics in eastern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Affected\u00a0employees include hourly workersthat were employed by\u00a0Aurora Health Care locations inWisconsin between\u00a0August 14, 2017 and December 31, 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lawsuit, which was filed in&nbsp;August of 2020, alleged that hospital workers&nbsp;were detrimentally affected by&nbsp;Aurora\u2019s&nbsp;time keeping policies and practices.
