Almost 300 travel nurses employed by Jackson Nurse Professionals LLC, a staffing company, stand to benefit from this payout with some workers receiving over $35,000.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lawsuit alleged that the agency failed to include all forms of payment rates into their regular hourly rate when calculating overtime pay as required by the FLSA. Specifically, per diems as well as regularly paid out bonuses were excluded from the travel nurses\u2019 regular rate of pay. This in turn shorted their overtime pay, which is calculated at time and a half their complete regular hourly rate.
